Akron is located on “Agia Triada” beach in Paleokastritsa, Corfu. Paleokastritsa is situated along the northwest coast of the island, 24 km from Corfu town. You will find us opposite the Akrotiri Beach hotel, on the right side of “Agia Triada” beach, which is the first of the five main bays of Paleokastritsa.
We found it only the last day of our stay and regretted this, because it looked very nice for a relaxing day on a cozy beach with a great view, nice music and drinks. Very laid back, not pretentious.
We have visited a lot of top places in Corfu but this was by far the best. The food is exquisite, each member of the staff extremely nice, the best wine we ever had in Greece, due to a very skilled sommelier. I recommend the tasting menu, a Michelin similar experience, where the food is accompanied by very good wines, presented by the sommelier, very good value for money.
Right on beach with sun beds and parasols. But 10€ for 2 sun beds and parasol. The bar next door is much better. Plus the service is very slow as there is only one person serving all area.
Good service, lovely scenery, tasty food! Special thanks to Nico, Basil and Helena for the good cares! This bar saved our vacation! Keep up the good work!
We hired beach loungers here for the day and had a great time There are staff who will bring drinks and food to you or you can move to the bar for a while. The staff are efficient and friendly. The cocktail menu is very good and I very much enjoyed my aperol spritz. Lunch was very good too although the sandwiches were maybe a little on the pricey side but were delicious. Great little beach bar!
We had lunch at the Akron as it was just below the hotel and also on the beach. Food was nice, although burger was rather dry, but it was hand made, so this was good. I felt that the bar considered itself to be upmarket, quite expensive. I asked if, as we were eating at the bar, did we pay for the beach beds, answer was yes, £10 euros! Other bars we had gone to also charged but took the charge off if you were lunching there
We had seafood pasta and truffle pasta - it was paradise! we had to go back the next day and had the same dishes again!
